    Solidarity with the USPS

We are living in a time where we see unions coming under increasing pressure from private money.

On Tuesday, September 27, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (local time), members of the four employee unions of the United States Postal Service—

    • American Postal Workers Union

    • National Association of Letter Carriers

    • National Postal Mail Handlers Union

    • National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association

—will join forces with members of our communities to send a message to the nation and its Congress. (full statement here: link to full statement)

The rally in Omaha will be held at:

11717 Burt Street from 4-5:30 (for a full list of events follow this link: List of Rallies Nationwide
There are going to be hundreds of protests around the country, all slated to begin and end at the same time in a show of solidarity.

We feel, as socialists and friends of labor, that it is our duty to stand in union with the APWU, NALC, NPMHU, and NRLCA.

Please join us on next Tuesday to take a stand against privatization, and forward this to any and all interested parties.
